Internal Job Posting – Clemco is hiring for:
Title:Field Sales Manager
Reports to:Vice President of Sales
FLSA:Exempt
Status:Salaried
MissionProvide technical expertise and close the sales of complex projects
AssignmentAll distributors that primarily serve industrial end users in the states of TX, OK, LA and AR, working as a team with other sales team members
Responsibilities Specific to This Role
1.Educate distributors on how to sell and support Clemco offerings (complement to formal training program).
2.Ensure distributors have the right product literature and reference material.
3.Support distributors in selling Clemco to end users (e.g., ride-along).
4.Conduct pre-sale activity for custom projects (e.g., requirements gathering, communicating the Clemco offering) and close them.
5.Create budget estimates for complex opportunities.
6.Manage assigned projects within sales funnel.
Responsibilities of All Sales Team Members
1.Effectively collaborate with Value Stream and functional leadership to ensure alignment with overall business priorities.
2.Work collaboratively and actively with the Sales (demand creation) team to support other members of the team.
3.Engage with all of Clemco in pursuit of their overall strategic goals, specifically with Engineering, Manufacturing, Marketing and Product Managers.
4.Internally and externally reinforce the One Clemco culture and values: transparency, open dialogue and respect.
5.Ensure quality concerns are addressed promptly and transparently, including the end user in the conversation about how the problem is being corrected and will be prevented in the future. Learn about RCCA and SCAB processes to be able to do this effectively.
6.Analyze revenue, end user and distributor data/trends; make recommendations for improvements and share internally as appropriate.

Prerequisites
•5 years' minimum experience in Sales (demand creation) within a manufacturing environment utilizing an indirect sales approach
•Abrasive blast equipment knowledge and experience preferred
•Bachelor’s degree (Engineering preferred) or equivalent education and experience
•Travel 50% or more
